Dear Bank of America, It’s come to my attention that you’ve been monitoring the Bank Transfer Day page on Facebook in an attempt to bring customers back. Please allow me to clue you in on why nearly 2.5 million Americans shifted their banking business to credit unions since October. We are done supporting organizations who choose to put profit before people. Credit unions invest in our communities in a way that your structure prevents you from doing. Their mission of “people helping people” will lead our nation down the path of economic recovery. These attempts at reaching out to consumers not only comes too little too late, but is downright creepy. Calling a former customer because of a post you saw on a page you don’t moderate is nearly as bad of an idea as the timing behind the $5/monthly fee for debit card access that lead to this in the first place.
If you’d like to maintain your existing customer base, your overall business policy desperately needs a complete overhaul. Take a humane approach to customer service. Be honest & transparent. Instead of saying you care, show it. After all, actions speak #louderthanwords.Your former customer,Kristen Christian

There are two basic kinds of terrorists – random idiots and professionals. Pretty much any airport security, even the pre-9/11 measures, will protect us against random idiots. They will get caught. And pretty much nothing will protect us against professionals. They’ve researched our security and know the weaknesses. By the time the plot gets to the airport, it’s too late. Much more effective is for the US to spend its money on intelligence, investigation and emergency response.
